In this workshop, you will learn the basics of Python. We will learn about some basic datatypes, how to use the Python interpreter, how to write scripts, and some basic methods for manipulating data. This session will provide the foundations for webscraping and using APIs. We will also look at some Python scripts and existing Python code to learn about the possibilities for using Python for research. We will also learn about some modules that have been developed for Python that you could utilize in your research.
