This day-long event is a combined version of the Office of Digital Research and Scholarship's Digital Research Skills series. We will go over tools for managing your research, including GitHub and Python. For complete descriptions of all of the sessions, see the DRS event page.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

  • Intro to Git and Github, 10-11AM

  • Break, 11-11:15AM

  • Markdown, HTML, and GitHub Pages, 11:15AM-12:30PM

  • Lunch break, 12:30-1:30PM

  • Intro to Python, 1:30-2:30PM

  • Break, 2:30-2:45PM

  • Webscraping and APIs with Python, 2:45-4PM
