Refworks and Zotero help save time at every stage of your research process by collecting, organizing and generating bibliographies. Browzine allows you to keep up with the current scholarship in your area.

Effective Research in Special Collections and Archives FSU Libraries Special Collections and Archives faculty will offer expert guidance in using special collections materials at Florida State University and elsewhere. Learn how to locate and evaluate rare books and archival collections relevant to your research, how to request and access materials remotely, how to plan a visit to a repository, and what to expect when you get there.

Read All About It: Newspapers in the 18th-20th c. Starting in the 18th century, newspapers, magazines and other periodicals became an important source of news and entertainment. This session will feature some of the key FSU resources for major and lesser-known periodicals in the 18th-20th centuries. Included are papers newly available through ProQuest's Historical Newspapers database.

Picture That: A Tutorial for Finding and Using Digital Images in the Humanities This session is for users interested in the how to's of image databases and navigating online museum collections. Artstor will be the main platform demonstrated but other resources presented will showcase open access and non-western digital material.

2:30-3:20pm
Beyond the West: An Introduction to Non-Western Resources (Amauri) - This session will introduce students to key resources for the study of languages and cultures of Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. No foreign language skills are required.
